  1. It depends how much space your computer has.

  2. Well, you can't run them at the same time.  But if your computer is good enough to run Sims 2 plus the majority of the expansion packs, it'll probably be fine for Sims 3.  We won't know Sims 3's specs until the game is ready to be released, so you've got a while to wait before you can check for sure.

  3. Depending on your system qualities, this will differ.

Right click on 'My Computer, choose 'Properties', and compare:

If your computer has this, or less:

    - Intel Pentium III.

    - 512mb-ram.

    - 120gb of storage.

Then I would certainly not do this.

But, if your computer has this, or more:

    - Intel Pentium 4.

    - 1056mb-ram.

    - 320gb of storage.

Then you are free to do it.

  4. How are we supposed to know, we have no idea what kind of system you have?

  5. Depends on your system specs. Id go here...

    http://thesims3.ea.com/view/pages/about....

Im not sure if they put their system requirements up yet...but to be safe Id uninstall all of the sims 2 products If I were you. Then again, who knows? you may have a super computer.
