Question:

Can I use US iTunes account in another country?

Apple has different iTunes stores for different countries with different contents. Some countries even do not have iTunes store.

I will move soon to a country where there is no iTunes store so I need replies from people who are living or lived there.

My questions are;

1) Does the "iTunes Store" button appear when you open the iTunes program? If it does not appear at all, then I have no chance of buying any content.

2) If you can access to the iTunes store, in terms of content, which store do you access and how do you know it? US iTunes store? UK iTunes store? Or another countries iTunes store? Perhaps a neighboring country's iTunes store because (I guess) IP addresses would be close to each other?

3) If you access US iTunes store, do you know whether I would be able to use my US iTunes account along with my still valid US credit card? Or would the iTunes detect my IP address being different a US IP and not allow me to purchase any content?

I will really appreciate your answers because if I will be able to use my US iTunes account, then I will extend the expiration date of my credit card. This is really important for me.

Comments of people having first hand experience who had used to use his/her US iTunes account in the US and then moved to a country where there was no iTunes store will be greatly appreciated!

Many thanks in advance for your time and attention!
