Can I use Yahoo Go 2.0 on Palm OS?

It looks like Yahoo Go 2.0 mostly works on Blackberry and select other phones. I'm with Verizon and Yahoo only lists a few Blackberry devices as supported. I have a Palm 700p and would like to get my Yahoo mail. I don't want to use the website or POP based because I want Yahoo Go to keep my mail in sync.

Would this even work on a 700w (Windows Mobile) based device? Why doesn't Yahoo do like Google and just make it a Java app so as long as I have Java on my phone I can run the app?

Has anyone got Yahoo Go working on Palm OS?
