Can I use a 360 wireless Headset If I dont have a Wireless Controller?

hi, awhile back my wireless controller works so i went cheaper and bought a wired controller

however, my playtronx mike broke and i'm sick of wired mikes that bend and break....can i use the microsoft 360 wireless headset if i'm using a wired controller (i'm not 100% sure how the wireless headset works)

Yes it connects to the bottom just like the normal headset, and can be used with either controller.
