Can I use a D-link wireless card and a linksys router?

Both are wireless-g and 2.4 ghz. Using windows 2000. I don't know how to get the laptop to find the signal.

Yes you can. That shouldn't be a problem. Just download the latest driver for your wireless card and you should be good. I've done this before i have a dlink usb wireless . To make it easier i suggest you use the D-Link Configuration Utility. You can download this utility together with the latest version of your driver.
