Can I use a LLOYDSTSB visa Debit card in Cuba?

  1. I would be more inclined to use your Visa or Master Card.I 'm not absolutely sure but when I was in Cuba in December it seems to me  the destination rep advised us that they weren't readily acceptable.  Mind you I'm Canadian.  Probably a Brit could give better advice on that score.


  2. Yes, as long as it has the Visa logo.... but not if it's affiliated with a US bank.

  3. I have used a Lloyds TSB Visa credit card and a Nationwide Visa debit card.

    So it seems possible.

Yes as long as its not affiliated with an American bank you will be fine, just remember that you will be charged 11.6% for any transactions you make whilst in Cuba by either booking trips with your card or by taking money out from the bank with it, we were in Cuba at Easter and our visa bill still isn't showing the trips we booked with our debit card.
