Can I use a Profile AP2000 with my POLK db1222 subs?

NOTE: im a newb to car audio

I just purchased the polk db1222 enclosure [ http://www.polkaudio.com/caraudio/products/subs/12inch/db1222/ ] and I'm looking around for a affordable amp to power them.

Will the profile AP2000 [ http://www.crutchfield.com/S-MkPuuwwPtYP/App/Product/Item/Main.aspx?I=489AP2000 ] get the job done?

That amp will not work for this application. The subs are pre wired to a 2 ohm final load and the amp isn't stable at that load in bridged mode. Plus, you could get twice the amp for that price.
