Can I use a Virgin Mobile phone with Yahoo Mobile?

I have tried to set up my Virgin Mobile phone with Yahoo but I'm not having any luck. When you go into setup it list several carriers such as Cingular,Sprint,etc. It has a selection for OTHER but when I choose it nothing happens.

I thought maybe they just didn't allow VM phones to use the service. However, a friend who uses TRACFONE (which is also not on the list) is able to use her phone for Yahoo Mobile with no hitches.

Can anyone advise?

I'm doing it with a Virgin Mobile phone, but you must have a phone that has a web browser.  Check Virgin mobile's website to see which ones have one.  If you have one with a web browser, simply navigate to where you can enter a url and enter "http://mobile.yahoo.com".  You don't have to do anything at Yahoo for this to work.

I'm currently having some problems accessing my e-mail, but even that was working fine yesterday.
