Can I use a Vista Giftcard online? best answer chosen?

I dont like giving out my real credit card becuase it really starts to add up on how much i have to pay. so i wnat to know if those knew gitfcards can? it doesnt HAVE to be vista. anyone is fine.

Giftcards are for store/mall use only.

Pre-paid cards may be used online if they have that functionality,  mostly if they've been endorsed by Visa, M/C or Amex.
