  1. No. In fact you could damage the cameras electrical contacts in the process. Besides, old lens are just that, old.


  2. First, you need Nikon adapter. Second, the digital camera's

    other functions will be defunct, that is, it will work as a

    manual camera.

    Try the nikkor 18-55mm lens, or the nikkor 50mm f/1.8 lens, they are starter lenses, they don't cost thousands of dollars each, but you'll probably spend that when you get more advanced, and save more money.
