We have a radon mitigation unit but would also like to add a whole house fan for extra cooling (possibly instead of adding central AC). Would this sort of a fan cause problems with radon in the house?

  1. USA    The radon unit should be vented to the outside, usually a 3" pipe above the roof.  A whole house fan should not cause a problem, as long as the fan does not discharge directly into the radon vent pipe.  If your radon system does not vent to the outside, you have a problem there, because it should go outside.
