I came across a recipe for chopsuey using chrysanthemum leaves. But I know so many kinds of chrysanthemum flowers. There are white ones, small yellow giant yellow, malaysian mums, white with purple centers. So are all these chrysanthemums edible? Can I eat any of these or is there an edible variety of chrysanthemum?

  1. They mean the green leaves, not the flowers themselves. Although you can use the flowers in teas.
