Can I use any kind of light bulb in my refrigerator?

The light bulb in my fridge blew out...do I need a specific kind of bulb because of the cold or can i use any?

  1. A regular light bulb works just fine.  Just make sure it is low wattage (usually 40w) and small enough to fit the recess.


  2. Ummm... they have appliance bulbs that are designed for ovens, etc. - that is what I would do, just to be on the safe side..

  3. Rather use the ones specially made. They are really cheap and you should be able to get them from home appliance dealers.

  4. just use a regular appliance bulb and be done with it.  you can get them anywhere and they are cheap.
