Can I use any other type of oil other then YAMALUBE in my 01 GPR 1200?

I would like to know if there is an oil equivilant to the yamalube 2w that I cna use that might be a bit cheaper.

I always use Yamalube in my GP800R but I work at a marina and regularly recommend using any synthetic PWC oil. I wouldn't recommend using just any TCW3 because most marine jet engines are a little more finicky than most two strokes. If Yamalube is readily available then keep on using it but Shell Nautilus or any other Synthetic PWC oil will work (regardless of oil color).

spend the extra money keep using the same oil. i blew mine up using cheaper oil. 2 motors later ,.

Most tcw3 or 4 will work but if you have any warranty than No or issue will happen>
