Can I use anything else except credit/debit cards to make an online purchase?

There are many things I want to purchase online. However I don't like to put my credit/debit card numbers online.

Can I use anything else?

Aside from having a credit card or debit card you could also make online purchase if you have money on payment processor sites like PayPal, Alertpay, e-passporte, etc.

I have used gift cards, prepaid credit cards from banks, and PayPal. All I have used a BUNCH of times.

Sometimes companies let you place the order on-line and then you can call to give them payment info...(Yankee Candle is one - maybe Amazon.com too - not sure about that one)

Some allow you to pay via check but you usually have to provide your account number on-line, so I doubt you would like this option....
