  1. Yes you can.  The only thing that may would cause a problem is external noise.  As long as it's quiet then there won't be a problem.  turn on a fan and it'll help even more.  Unless you hear a lot of static from using them but if not it will more than fine to use.


  2. No, I think the distortion will interfere with the effects of the cd's.
