So this may seem like a simple question, but I wanted to make sure. Ok so I was asked to bring a dessert to a labor day party I'm attending. I found this recipe for Blackberry Fool.2 cups fresh blackberries1/2 cup sugar1 tsp fresh lemon juice2 cups heavy cream1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract. 1. Blend berries, sugar and lemon juice. Pour mixture through sieve. 2. Combine cream and vanilla and whip until stiff peaks form. Gently fold 1/2 of berry puree into cream. Spoon mixture into custard cups. Cover loosely and refrigerate for 1 hour or overnight. 3. To serve drizzle the remaining puree and garnish with a few fresh blackberries. So my question is can I use chocolate toasting cups in place of custard bowls. If so dark chocolate or milk chocolate? Should I refrigerate them overnight in the toasting cups or wait until it is ready to be served?Any Ideas?
