Can I use de MPEG II in a DVD Rom disc??

It is possible that a DVD player reads a DVD disc, with files with mpeg 2 format??

Because DVD video is ENTIRELY based on mpeg-2 technology I would say yeah probably.  DVD players are far more picky towards file structure then rather file format (which you mentioned) a MPEG2 file in mpg format would probably not work but a video in .vob shell with an AC3 audio would certainly work.
