  2. Yep. If you're using Apache, you'll have to edit your httpd.conf file to say that you want it to look in <drive name>/<foldername> for the files to send to your client's browser. This includes files other than HTML. If you don't have Apache configured to look in there for files instead using a <drivename>/<folder or file name> link in your HTML, most modern browsers will not load the content as the same thing could be used to load files from your client's computer.
