Can I use images and Manchester United trademark within my school project?

I am working on my final semester project of high school on Manchester united. So I want to add some pictures of Manchester united team and their trademark in my project. But one of my friends told me that its copyright issue and Manchester united authorities will punish me for that. So i want to know that can i use images and Manchester united trademark within my school project? If anyone has any information then please resolve my problem. Any kind of help regarding this problem will be highly valuable for me. Thank You.
