Can I use mouthwash as a breath spray?

I have this breath spray that I carry around, and today I noticed that the top unscrews and I can fill it with any liquid I want, so I was thinking about filling it with mouthwash instead of buying a new one. Any thoughts?

  1. no because mouthwash is used for gurgling and theres a chance that you might swallow the mouth wash.

yes it's bad to swallow mouthwash:)

  2. I wouldn't recommend it. Mouthwash is meant to be spat out and not consumed. Even if it is just a small amount those amounts add up. Swallowing mouthwash can actually cause liver damage. This is just a thought but how about carrying mint leaves in a little bag with you and just chew on those throughout the day. It will freshen your breath and be all natural. You may have to carry floss with you as well though.
