Can I use my Canon Vixia hf-10 to stream live video in a webcast, like a webcam?

According to Canon's website you can NOT use the Canon VIXIA HF10 as a webcam or to stream video. I don't know for sure that it won't work but it is definitely not "supported". Use the link I referenced and search for 'stream' and you will see what they say.

Here is what their website says:
