Can I use my DirecTV remote for my Accurian 5-Disc Changer?

I didn't see a code for Accurian or Radio Shack, but I was wondering if there may be another brand that could also work? I have a D-100 DirecTV system.

You can try scanning for the code:

Scanning for code can take up to 30 minutes (but is usually faster).

1.        Power on TV or component.

2.        Slide mode switch to AV1, AV2 or TV position.

3.        Press and hold MUTE.

4.        While still holding down MUTE, press and hold SELECT until green light flashes twice.

5.        Enter 9-9-1.

o                     Green light will flash 2 times.

6.        Enter one of the following 4 digits, as applicable:

Component Type

Satellite: 0

TV : 1

VCR/DVD/PVR: 2

Stereo:3



7.        After ID # is entered, green light will flash 2 times.

8.        Point remote at TV or component and press CHANNEL UP button. Repeat pressing CHANNEL UP until TV or component powers off.

o                     Every time CHANNEL UP is pressed, remote will advance to next code and power is transmitted to component.

9.     When TV or component powers off, press and release SELECT.

o                     NOTE: If green light flashes three times before TV or component responds, then all codes have been cycled through .

§                                 Try entering code(s) manually.

o                     Scan for code again.

No, the direct TV remote does not work with most no name brands. You can try to do a code search, but it will not give you multi disc functionality anyway.
