Can I use my husband's credit card?

I am using it to do some groceries. Am I supposed to sign my name or his?

  2. You should NEVER sign HIS name to anything.  Period.

  3. You can sign your name, you may be asked for ID, you should also try to get your own card from your husband.

  4. Technically you should only use his account if you are an authorized user.  That means you have your own card. People often "get away with" using some one else's card because businesses do not pay much attention to who signs. However, some places do and they may compare signatures as they should. In our self service world though you probably will never have to deal with a person at the register. However, is it worth the risk of explaining why you have some one else's card?  You won't get in real trouble because he would have to be willing to prosecute an unauthorized charge.  But better to have your own card. Have him add you to the account.
