  1. newspaper is totally fine to use.  Just be prepared to wash dishes/glasses/vases/anything else that the newsprint rubss off on.  It is a great filler for corners and tops of bozes; can't be beat.  If you can swing it, go and buy a box of the plain paper they ahve at the moving places or a big box of craft drawing paper (as they don't have ink on them there's nothing to bleed/rub off; it's just a lot cleaner). I think Uhal has a monster box for around 10-12 bucks (i moved a 3 bdroom apt and 1 box was plenty...i even had some left)

  2. No it wont stain........You could also used paper towels or even your own towels. The idea is to keep glass off glass so really anything will work.

  3. newspaper will be fine to be safe tho go and buy some bubble wrap, best thing for the job and is not too expensive.

    GOOD LUCK
