Can I use normal earplugs on air plane?

Can I use Normal ear plugs like the brown rounded cylinder type of earplugs on an airplane or do I have to use the earplane earplugs because the others are bad or something or what? Please answer. Thanks

  1. If you are talking about the rubber noise reducing ear plugs (not ipod, etc for music) then they should be vented.  If they are not vented then they will pop out during takeoff/climb (not a problem) but will get pushed into your ears during decent/landing (a problem.)

    I literally walk on and off with my IPOD.lol

  3. id bring mine they give you cheap ones  

  4. You can use your own.  The earplanes are for people who have problems with compression/decomp on takeoff/landing.
