I have a ton of 41 cent stamps as well as other denominations. am I able to cut part of the stamp and add it to the 41Cent stamp to mail a letter or does the post office forbid that?

  1. Defacing postage stamps is wrong. It's all or nothing at all. Hint: you don't have to put on full postage. If you put on at least some postage, the recipient will have to pay the rest.

  2. I hope your kidding. NO! You have to buy 1 cent stamps.

  3. no, you can't do that. You will either have to go buy some 1 cent stamps like i had to do (burnt 5$ in gas to go buy five 1 cent stamps), or stick two stamps on the thing.

I would have come out cheaper just using two 41 cent stamps, but that's your call.
