Hey guys. Well since I just got my 1377c, I've been thinking I probably need to get some oil/lube to clean it/put on the seals. Since all the stores near me don't have Crosman pellgun oil, I was wondering if I could use real gun oil to clean it with. Thanks.

  1. Use a very light grade oil similiar to 3in1 or an air tool oil. Both are available at a good hardware store.

  2. yeah and it make it shoot real smooth and if you clean the barrel on any crosman before you shoot it(since crosman barrels are almost always dirty when you first get them)and add some gun oil any gun that can shoot up to 100 yards max range or further will shoot accurately so what i am saying is that whatever your guns max range is it will shoot fairly accurately

  3. Gun Oil - Yes.

Anything with 'nitro solvent' - No.

    You might damage your seals.

  4. yes no problem there...

  5. Yes, gun oil, or any light machine oil, sewing machine oil, even automatic transmission fluid will work in a pinch.
