i searched online, most sites just tell me to buy the actual plants.

why buy plants if i can grow them directly from the strawberries from the supermarkets?

however, i read one site, it told me that i have to freeze them for a month before i plant them, is that true?

if not, what is the proper way to grow strawberries directly from them?

  1. You can grow them from seeds but they take a long time to sprout..a very long time..If you plant them with strawberries from the store you will more than likely not end up with the same kind of strawberries due to cross polllination where they came from or being a hybrid variety..

  2. They propigate best by planting their 'runners' or offshoots from the plant itself, not the fruit.
