  1. Assuming you have a spare input to plug in the audio feed ... sure. You can either send the video through the home theatre too (again assuming you have a  spare input) or go direct to the display (e.g. TV, projector).

    If you don't have a spare input, but can disconnect the DVD player, you can substitute the PS3.

    Note if the display is an HDTV you can benefit from Blu-ray disks (not just DVDs) as well ... particularly if you use an HDMI connection for the video (although component will work almost as well, too).
