Can I use wanton pastry wraps to make Japanese Gyoza??

I dont know anywhere in Cambridge (UK) that sells Gyoza wraps my local oriental food store only sells Wanton pastry wraps can I use these to make Gyoza??

If not anyone know an online store I can by Gyoza wraps from?

  1. Gyoza wrappers are different than wanton wrappers.  You can use wanton wrappers but it won't be the same.  It will be wantons.  Gyoza is thicker and more doughy, and cook differently.   If you can't find any, you can try to make your own.  It's basically water and so called strong flour.  Here's a website that shows how to make it.  http://www.japan-guide.com/r/e107.html
