Can I use yahoo answers as a place I volunteer my time for helping my community?

Hi, all. I am applying for sc holarships for college and they would like to know places I volunteer my time. I can't really afford to work without getting a paycheck, because my kids cost so much money. Yes, I'm a 31 year old college kid. Any hoo, I spend an hour a day on yahoo answers (or more) while my kids are in school and I should be sleeping since I'm on the graveyard shift now. Anyways, yahoo doesn't pay for my valuable knowledge, so is this considered volunteer work? Thanks all!

P.S- You don't have to volunteer to qualify for scholarships.  Just put "N/A".

Well my parole officer told me that I couldn't use it for community service time, but I think scholarships are a little different.  I say go for it.  If you need me to write you a letter discussing all of the time you have spent giving all of us such invaluable advise, just let me know.
