Can I visit Cuba coming from a Canadian airport showing only my Canadian Passport without the US Government finding out? I have a US Green Card and have been told they can take it away if I visit Cuba.

  1. you wanted to come to the US and you received a green card? you cannot just get the good things in the US, you also have to believe in the gov. and support it in the embargo against Cuba, if you get caught? they will take your green card and you will have only yourself to blame.......... why Cuba? if you came to the states? you probably needed a better life? otherwise, you would have stayed in your country? or why did you come to the US?go ahead a take a chance.................. if you think you are smart enough to outdo administration and authorities? ............

  2. You were told wrong.

  3. You might want to talk to an immigration attorney in the U.S. before planning on travelling to Cuba.  I've heard of Americans travelling through Mexico first before flying to Cuba and not getting their passports stamped.  Americans are subject to fines if its discovered that they travelled to Cuba. (Unless they have permission to do so).

You should know that permanent residency can be revoked.  I can almost guarantee that yours will be revoked it if its discovered that you flew to Havana.

Recently, I heard of a CEO for an American company who got access to her travel information and discovered that the U.S. goverment tracked all her travel outside America even travel not to and from U.S. destinations (and who sat beside her).

Why not consider the Dominican Republic instead?

  4. Get a duplicate passport from the Candadian Goverment and use that one instead. U.S. Residents do that frequently.
