Can I visit an inmate in prison if . . . . ?

I am on probation and I have a previous felony? We are in the state of Arizona. Thanks!!

You will need to check the conditions of both your probation and the rules for visiting at the particular institution you want to go to. Usually a condition of probation is not to associate with known felons, so that would lean to a "no."

I used to live in Arizona and I totally know how the system works there. Been there, done that. Anyways, yes you can visit if you have had a felony. My fiance is a ex felon and we have gone to visit friends in prison. As far as you being on probation though, that would be up to your officer. So check with him/her.
