it depends of the country you are going to visit, dont think that the green card is an door opener around the world, if you mean Europe , i dont think so, everybody needs a visa

You still need to check the country that you want to visit requires for you to obtain visa based on your citizenship.

Canada and Mexico allows US LPR to visit without visa.
