  1. For border purposes, there is no visa or passport requirement for movement into Vatican from Italy.

    If you are legally in Italy, you can move freely across the invisible border into the Vatican.

    If you are asking if they check visas when you enter the vatican or vatican city, the answer is no.  If you can get into Italy, you will have no problem getting into the vatican.

  5. Once you are legally in Italy, there is no problem to travel to the Vatican. It is impossible to tell that you've crossed the boarder into Vatican City as it shares roads and most services with the city of Rome. There is no border check so to speak.

    The same in San Marino, where it just seems as though you are entering another town in Italy. You will see signs and the license plates are different, but that's about it.
