We will be arriving at Norde Train Station for a day in Paris. We want to take the Paris hop on hop off bus tour. Is it far to walk to one of these sites from there to catch the bus?

Champs de Mars - Avenue Joseph Bouvard

Musee du Louvre - Near the Pont des Arts

Notre Dame - in front of the 25 rue d'Arcole

Musee d'Orsay - in front of the Musee d'Orsay entrance

Opera - in front of the 15 rue Sribe

  1. Yes it is quite easy to walk anywhere in Paris you want but If you have weak legs you should take the Metro. If you are staying for more than 2 days you need the week pass.If you are claustrophobic you need to walkl.B/c the trains get very crowded. The Eiffel tower is 700 steps to the second story then you can go down for free but if you want to go ALL the way up you need to pay a small fee.And Notre Dame is One of the most Architectural places in Europe with the Park and the Church together. You can go into this Catholic church at either eight or nine in the morning. And the Louve is also very architectural but not as much as the Notre Dame.

  2. This map shows you where all the monuments are:

This one tells you where the train stations are:

You are ABSOLUTELY NOT going to want to walk to Notre Dame, the Louvre, or Tour Eiffel...they are WAY too far.

It looks like any of your stops are pretty far.  You're going to want to take a bus or the metro to the center of town.
