Can I wash 100% polyester slacks?

I don't have time to get my hubby's pants to the cleaners. They need to be cleaned and there are some spots on them. Can I wash them in the delicate cycle? They are 100% polyester Calvin Klein slacks.

I saw this on "how clean is your house" and it really does work! Take a micro-fiber or low lint cloth, saturate a square of it in vodka and rub over the stain. It works on anything polyester, ties, pants, etc. I used it on a hand-wash only polyester Halloween costume to get a punch stain out that sat in for a day. Give that a try. You shouldnt have to worry about it ruining the color because they are colorfast and pre-shrunk.
