Can I wash my Speedo?

Question

After swimming in the pool,I usually just rinse my speedo bathing suit in plain water to get the chlorine out.Can I wash it in the machine and hang it to dry?Will the washer be too much for the suit?

NOOOO.  Hand wash with Woolite or special swim suit soap....I've even used very dilute dish soap.  Wash in cold water and rinse a thousand times.  OK, about 3 or 4 fimes.  Roll in a towel to take excess water out and dry on another dry towel or hang out of sunlight.

The washer bashes the fabric against the tub sides and the dryer causes the lycra and other synthetics to give up.

ewwww..............speedo?

Do us all a favour and wash it in the washing machine on "heavy duty" and add lots and lots of bleach.  Then hang it in the sunlight until it melts.

A speedo?  ReallY?

Now, if you are a competitive swimmer (which I doubt, hence the question) you would know how to properly wash a speedo!

I would wash it by hand with a few drops of detergent.=)
