Can I wash my cars carpet by removing the whole carpet?

Question

I was wondering, can i remove the whole carpet from my car and wash it using a garden hose? The carpet is pretty dirty so thats why.

My dad said that its a bad idea because it would just be soaking wet and probably create mold

rent a carpet cleaner make sure to leave your windows cracked for a couple days till it completely dries....

It would work fine....If you are even more inclined. Throw it out and buy a new carpet..They arent that expensive.

do you mean the floor mats or the actual carpeted flooring that covers everything from under the pedals to the back seat?  its all one ppieceyou can't remove that stuff without ripping it up.  go rent a carpet cleaner from your local grocer.

sure you can! just after you wash it, lay it in the sun until it dries good. it won,t mold if it,s good and dry.
