  1. I agree with 'oddy'.  I always washed mine by hand, it only takes a few seconds, and you are absolutely positive they are clean.

  2. I think it's better if you just wash them all by hand, the machine can cause damage to the bottles and nipples.

  3. yes it wont hurt them just pit them under the glasses so they wont go all over the place

  4. Yep. I do this all the time. Just put them on the top rack and you may even want to get a "holder" for the nipples and rings. I have a Munchkin one and it's great because nothing gets lost.

  5. Yes you can!

  6. If the newborn can handle the heat, you can was his or her nipples in the dishwasher.

  7. yeeaaaahhhh its ight

  8. you do what you gotta do, know what I mean?

  9. yes=)

they were made so you can do it like that!

  10. You can wash the bottles in the dishwasher, but it is best to boil the nipples in water either in the microwave or on the stove.  The diswashing detergent will break down the nipples and make them go mushy.

  11. I do.  Make sure you give them a rinse when you take them out.

  12. Yes but I don't suggest washing the nipples in the dishwasher because the heat breaks them down and they are more likely to become rubberized and sticky or break.

  13. Yes.  If you have a sanitizer button on your dishwasher, use that too.  New borns get thrush pretty easy for the nipples and pacifiers.  You can get a little cage like thing to put the nipples and then put them in the dishwasher so they don't fly around and get bounced onto the heating element.  We used to boil the nipples.  They get a little funk pretty fast, kinda sticky, so think about replacing them when that starts happening.  Congrats and good luck with the new baby.

  14. Yes you can.  But with the nipples, only if they are made of silicone.  If they are latex, it can cause them to deteriorate and can be a choking hazard to your baby.

  15. yes just not ur nipples.

  16. no, everything about babys, even their clothes, should be done seperatly. They are very fragile

  17. Yes.

  18. ya its fine as long as they are comepletely clean

  19. Not sure on the toxicity of the dish washing stuffs

  20. can you? yes you may.

  21. You can, however I have found it better to do so by using liquid Anti-Bac soap by hand.. this way one could get (if any) film that dishwasher soap may leave. Sometimes if cereal is used in the bottle it may build up. :)

  22. Boiling is better.

  23. dYes, Just keep them apart from the other dishes so that they don't get any thing on them and give them a good rinse after words.

  24. Yes you can, top rack only tough, otherwise they will melt. Most of them now-a-days should actually say dishwasher safe on them.

I put my son's in all the time and my mother did the same for me and my siblings.

  25. tats the easiest way

  26. Yes! Makes life MUCH easier that way!
