I'm in New Zealand and I want to watch the videos that the BBC make available online in the UK.

Is there any way around it?

(I do pay my TV license, so it's only fair)

  1. I think this site

will provide you with all the Clippings that you need.

  2. you probably can if you take you laptop

  3. Like you I'm  paying for a UK TV licence but am currently abroad. Unfortunately no, you can't watch the BBC i-player as it looks at your ISP and will only let UK based ones access the TV shows page.

A pain and a shame, but I do appreciate why they have to do it for copyright reasons etc. They can hardly sell their progs abroad if they are freely available from their own website can they.

They are apparently working on an international version, which will have reduced content available, but what's the betting that's the bits no-one wants !

Ah well at least the radio is available everywhere, so can't moan too much.

  4. you can watch it at http://freemovies.ebooknetworking.net

  5. Nope, im in Thailand and am gutted that I cant watch two pints! You have to be inside of the UK for it to work. HOWEVER Most programmes can be found on youtube.com, do a random search or look on BBC World wide x

  6. Do you mean the BBC i player? No you can't watch the shows in other countries.

  7. No, we can't in Ireland, its because only people in the UK pay the license fee. So I guess its the same for everywhere else
