Can I watch a dvd on my portable dvd player on a plane?

i am travelling from newcastle airport with thomson and i was wondering if you are aloud to watch a dvd on a portable dvd player when flying on the plane?

Yes you can but you have to switch it off when your taking off and landing.

remember to switch if of when you take of and land

remember to charge it fully befor you leave for the airport

remember to take your charger to charge it at the holiday resort so you can watch it on the way back.
