Can I watch recorded content on Dish 622 DVR without current service?

I want to cancel Dish Network service and wonder if I can still access the recorded shows to watch? Has anyone tried this? It worked with my old DirecTV setup. I canceled, but the box still plays all the recorded material. Thanks!

yea it will show the satellite aquisition screen but just press the dvr button and u can go to my recordings

yes, you can still watch it. I did it after loosing my Dish service.

Yes, Dish Network also has the info just recorded onto a hard drive. You will be able to watch the programming without service.
