Can I watch the Stanley Cup Finals In Hawaii?

Question

Do Hawaiians watch hockey? I know the games are on NBC, but they would be on at like 2pm local time? Will they show them live and dare to interrupt daytime drama?

Funny you should ask this.  I'll be in Maui for the beginning of the Finals ... and have been there for the Finals a year ago.  I don't know which island you are on but there are  two sports bars in Kihei (in Maui) that showed the games when I asked... I had to ask though and I was willing to pay $50 to show them but the barstaff was nice and didn't take my money.  I plan to use this system again.

It really shouldn't be hard for you to find places like this... and at the times the games would play there the bars won't be crowded so the barstaff probably won't have a problem with turning over the TV to you.

I couldn't get the games in my hotel though... I guess that the feed was cable and the bars all have satellite.

The bars were Moose McGulleys (something like that) and I don't remember the other but it has the word SPORTS in the name and is two blocks from Moose's.  Also there is Maui Brewing Co. near Kanapoli.
