  1. My husband is from mexico and I plan on studying in school for something that I can do over the internet so that when we move to Mexico I can take my job with me. As long as you are working for an American company there shouldnt be a problem. However if you want to work for a company in mexico, you would have to get the proper paperwork.

  2. Charlie is always right and I have to agree 100%. Nothing will change. Your American working from "home". Your paycheck will be direct deposit, and your american. It simply wont make a difference.

Your a lucky dog with these circumstances. Not many can do this thing - FM3 card is a work permit and impossible to obtain but you wont need one as your working for an American Company on line !

American that comes down and tries to work for a Mexican Company MUST get the FM3 and its impossible.

Im sure you salary is pretty good so you will live like a king on it. Good chance to save or repay your mom for all shes done. If  you will still have a mortgage or a car note to pay off well then plan your income accordingly.

Welcome to Mexico - hope your prepared for the ride - good , bad and ugly.

Im sure your mom has briefed you on living conditions so your golden - keep your hands inside the vehicle and your seat on the upright position..................

Ya know.............If your Company comes up with some bullsh@t excuse than visit your local consulate general office for Mexico in your state - all have them. they will have all the right answers - your mom is worth this once in a lifetime opportunity to live and play in Beautiful Mexico

  3. If you are working on the computer and doing business in the states...so your income is from the states...yes.  You cannot work at a job in Mexico and earn money in Mexico while there on a tourist visa.

  4. Sure, just hire a fast internet connection.

I live in Guadalajara and I have three friends here that work on-line for companies in Canada or the US.

Just tell your company about it in case they have restrictions for IP's outside the US. I'm sure they can fix that for you.
