  2. Yes the name 'satan' is a title that means 'accuser'  This a name that was given to Lucifer when he fell and wanted to take God's place in heaven.  He was cast down to sheol and was defeated at the cross where Jesus stomped him under His foot

    Because of that, we have authority over Satan, however we need to be careful because he is an angel and was created with wisdom.
