Can I write a check when buying a computer? or does it need to be a credit/debit card?

I'm going to be buying a macbook from apple. Does anyone know if they accept checks?

if you are buying in person yes they will take your check!!!

You would have to ask them what their policy is. I imagine they will take a check. Depends

also if you're buying online or directly at the store.
