Can IRR, Ready Reserve, or Inactive Reserve shop at a commisary or PX w/o paying a sales tax?

when you begin IRR goto the nearest DEERS facility, there you turn in your CAC card, then they issue you the IRR card, i know...because i did this LAST weekend...this IRR card gets you on base, and gets you into everything

no.  No ID card, no access to base facilities.

if you have a DOD id than yes.. which I dont think they do.

yes as long as you have a dod i.d. card

Yes because you should have the ID card that symbolizes you are an inactive reservist...and that ID card will get you on base.

I don't think so. If you have an Military issue ID card you are welcome to shop. otherwise, sorry.
