We have roundtrip airfare booked to Buenos Aires, and will be staying in Argentina for 11 days. Is it possible to visit BA, Iguazu, AND the Perito Moreno glacier (Patagonia) in this time?

We are thinking of visiting BA for about 4 days, Iguazu for 2, and the Patagonia for the remaining 4-5 days.

My second question is, how should we plan out the route? It's kinda difficult with BA in the center and we are flying into it. Should we go BA --> Iguazu --> BA --> Patagonia?

The airfare within Argentina will probably be expensive too huh?

  1. Yes, it can be done, thought it can be tiring. You can allow 2 days for Iguazu and 3 days for Perito Moreno, which leaves you 6 days in Buenos Aires which is more than enough. Maybe you should split your days in Buenos Aires between the other two destinations since all the flights depart from BA.

So assuming you have 11 nights, you can stay for the first 3 nights in BA, then fly to Iguazu and stay there for 2 nights, come back to BA for another 3 nights, then Calafate for another 2 nights, and one last night in BA for your return flight.

Or... you can concentrate on BA and Iguazu, and leave Patagonia for your next trip, when you can also include other of the beautiful destinatons in Patagonia also woth seing.

Internal flights are a little bit expensive. I'm not sure about Calafate, but the flight to Iguazu is around us$ 350.
